Our After School programs are on-site programs that provide early intervention through activities that interest children and can be used to teach them lifetime skills for success.
Our most popular program is the on-site martial arts class. This program serves elementary and middle-school age children at their school. We ask teachers to recommend their most troubled, or troublesome, children.
We start at the elementary age in order to increase the odds of success for each child. The sooner a child knows he or she has a future and has the tools to make their dreams come true, the more likely they are to achieve their goals. Children at high risk for gang-membership, undesired pregnancy and poor school performance are mentored and shown the path to college, good jobs and successful adulthoods.
We intervene in these childrens' lives to provide personal growth, hope for the future and a solid plan for lifetime success. Concrete, well-researched and proven methods are used to achieve these goals. These include using caring adults as instructors, developing character throught the PEP program, encouraging concrete self-esteem and increasing physical fitness and personal collateral.
Our methods are highly developed and effective. Certified professional instructors use the Personal Excellence Program and the allure of martial arts to improve academics and create quality citizens.
